The government has given administrative sanction of ₹10.2 crore to renovate 34 roads in the Nemom Assembly constituency, Minister for General Education and Nemom MLA V. Sivankutty has said.
Administrative sanction has been received for roads including the first reach up to Villuvilakam Junction on the Ambalathara-Pazhanchira-Paruthikuzhi Road (₹45 lakh) and the second reach from Villuvilakam Junction to Maithri Nagar (₹45 lakh); Attukal-Chirappalam-Vennila junction Road (₹45 lakh); Estate Sathyan Nagar- Malamelkunnu Road (₹45 lakh); Kamaleswaram-Nalanda-Neelattinkara Road (₹45 lakh); Kalady-Maruthara-Kalady South Road (₹40 lakh); Thirumala-Aalapuram Road (₹39 lakh); Nedumcaud-Pallithanam Road (₹35 lakh); Punchakkary Nelliyode Judgikunnu Road (₹45 lakh); Melamcode Kannamcode Punchakkary Road (₹45 lakh); Vellar Pachalloor Anchamkallu Sai Mill Road (₹45 lakh); Mudavanmugal Thamalam Methode Road (₹25 lakh); and Poojappura Sudarshan Nagar Road (₹22 lakh).
Administrative sanction has been given for renovation of 3,540 roads across the State as part of rural road renovation project, a statement quoting the Minister said.
