Feds have expanded the charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs, filing a superseding indictment that includes two new female victims in the ongoing racketeering conspiracy case.

Combs, previously charged with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, now faces an even more complex set of allegations involving three women.

New Victims Added in Racketeering Conspiracy Case

The new indictment continues to focus on Combs’ alleged involvement in sex trafficking and the transportation of individuals to engage in prostitution. Initially, the charges centered on a former long-term girlfriend of Combs, referred to as “Victim 1,” but the updated charges now name two additional women. Prosecutors claim Combs used his influential position to lure women into sex acts, often under the pretense of a romantic relationship.

Combs’ defense team maintains that the actions with “Victim 1” were consensual and part of a long-term relationship, challenging the prosecution’s claims of sex trafficking. “There’s one victim in the indictment…it’s not 50,” an attorney for Combs stated, emphasizing that the charge is primarily based on a single person’s allegations.

Despite the defense’s position, the prosecutors assert that the criminal conduct extends back to 2004—four years earlier than initially believed. They allege that Combs, aided by his associates, used his power and influence to intimidate and coerce women into participating in sex acts, sometimes with male commercial sex workers, during events described as “Freak Offs.” These events allegedly involved women being drugged and forced into sexual activity. In some instances, the indictment claims, Combs would engage with a woman alone, without the involvement of other individuals.

The superseding indictment also reveals alarming new allegations of violence. Prosecutors accuse Combs of engaging in multiple acts of kidnapping when his authority was threatened. One such incident reportedly involved Combs dangling a victim over an apartment balcony, further adding to the gravity of the charges against him.

Legal Experts Weigh in on the Allegations Against Combs

In response, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, dismissed the new allegations, calling them a “ridiculous theory.” He insists that the claims involving the two additional women being labeled as prostitutes are without merit. Agnifilo reaffirmed Combs’ commitment to fighting the charges, asserting that the prosecution’s case remains flawed and that the rapper and mogul plans to challenge the accusations in court.

As the legal proceedings continue, prosecutors have added two drugs—psilocin, a psychedelic, and methamphetamine—to the list of controlled substances allegedly possessed by Combs and his associates. This addition further complicates the case, but Combs’ defense remains steadfast in their rejection of the allegations.

The investigation into Combs’ activities is still ongoing, and prosecutors have indicated that they may file further superseding indictments as new information comes to light. The government’s commitment to pushing forward with the case was emphasized in a recent letter to the judge, which also highlighted the upcoming May 5, 2025, trial date.
