Shilpa Shinde has accused the Bigg Boss makers of fixing the winner and fooling the viewers. She had herself won the reality show in 2017.

On January 19, Karan Veer Mehra was declared the winner of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18 as he defeated Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal in the Grand Finale. The popular TV actor was being hailed among the most deserving winners of in the show’s history, along with the likes of Sidharth Shukla, Munawar Faruqui, Tejasswi Prakash, and Prince Narula.
However, famous TV actress Shilpa Shinde has now accused the makers of rigging the show and fixing the winner. Talking to News18, she said, “I don’t know, kuch logo ko pata chal gaya ki makers khud hi decide karte hain winner. Khud hi banate hain, apne ghar se uthakar late hain aur khud hi dikhate hain. Toh channel ki jo bhi strategy hai, I think logon ko pata chal gayi hai. Aap ek limit tak logon ko ullu banaa sakte ho, uske baad nahin.”
In 2017, Shilpa Shinde had herself won Bigg Boss 11. She had defeated Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta, and Puneesh Sharma in the Grand Finale. Shilpa and Karan together participated in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in 2024. While Shilpa finished at ninth place, Karan went on to win the Rohit Shetty-hosted show as well.
Thus, Karan Veer Mehra became only the second person to win Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss. In 2020, Sidharth Shukla had won Bigg Boss 13. In 2016, Shukla won Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor passed away in 2021 at the age of 40 after suffering a heart attack.
