Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Saturday condoled the demise of Padma Shri Vanajeevi Ramaiah.
The Chief Minister said that Daripalli Ramaiah, popularly known as Vanajeevi, strongly believed that survival of mankind was impossible without nature and environment.
“Ramaiah launched plantation as an individual and influenced the entire society”, he said that the Padma Shri awardee inspired the youth by dedicating entire life to environmental protection.
The Chief Minister said the demise of Vanajeevi Ramaiah was an irreparable loss to the society and conveyed deep sympathies to the bereaved family members.
