Karnataka approves 63 projects worth over ₹1,740 cr, will generate 7,219 jobs

Karnataka, in its 153rd State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) meeting, approved 63 projects worth over ₹1,741.60 cr, expected to generate employment for more than 7,219 people across the State.

The State approved proposals from seven large and medium industries with investments exceeding ₹50 crore, totalling ₹593.80 crore. These projects are projected to create employment opportunities for about 2,093 people.

Additionally, 53 new projects with investments ranging between ₹15–50 crore were approved, amounting to ₹1,106.60 crore and generating employment for approximately 4,961 people. Three additional investment proposals were also cleared, contributing ₹41.20 cr in investments and creating jobs for 165 people.

Approved proposals of 53 new projects that fall under the range of ₹15-50 crore, which sums up to an investment of ₹1,106.6 crore in Karnataka, which would generate employment opportunities to about 4,961 people. Three additional Investment Proposals have been approved, which sum up to an investment of ₹41.20 crore in Karnataka that would provide employment opportunities to 165 people.

Among the approved projects, Provit Foods Private Ltd will invest ₹125.88 crore in a feed plant in Moodbidri Taluk, Dakshina Kannada, which is expected to generate around 308 jobs. VK Building Services Pvt. Ltd plans to invest ₹97.52 crore in a prefabricated modular products manufacturing unit in Devanahalli, Bengaluru Rural, creating employment for 200 people. TTP Technologies Private Ltd will invest ₹91.2 crore to manufacture transformer radiators in Hirehalli, Tumkur, providing jobs for approximately 900 people.

Provit Foods Private Ltd plans to invest ₹125.88 crore in State of the art Technology Feed Plant, generating employment for about 308 People.

“A total of 60 projects related to feed plants, prefabricated modular structures, bus body building, and aerospace and defence-related electronics systems and spare parts manufacturing were approved, along with three projects for additional capital investment. In total, 63 projects have been approved across Dakshina Kannada, Tumkur, Kolar, Vijayapura, Chitradurga, Chikkamagaluru, Belagavi, Raichur, Yadgir, Kalaburagi, and Bengaluru Rural districts,” said Industries Minister MB Patil.
