A video shared by sources shows a young man named Amir Nazir Wani, a terrorist, having a last video call with his family before being killed in a fight with security forces. Amir is seen holding a weapon during the call while his mother begs him to give up and come back.
But Amir did not listen. His reply was, “Let the army come forward, then I will see.”
Amir was not alone. He was one of three terrorists killed in a gunfight in Nadir village, located in Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir‘s Pulwama district. The other two men were Asif Ahmed Sheikh and Yawar Ahmad Bhat, both also from Pulwama.

The gunfight happened after the men were found hiding in a house. Amir made the video call from that same house before the encounter began. He spoke to both his mother and sister, and also talked briefly to Asif’s sister, who asked about her brother.
According to reports, the security forces first asked the terrorists to surrender. But instead of coming out, they opened fire at the soldiers, leading to the deadly exchange.
One of the terrorists, Asif, had been involved in a previous incident in Tral where his house was destroyed with explosives by security forces in a strong action against terrorism.
