PM Modi declares ‘Operation Sindoor’ as new normal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India has shown its power by giving a strong answer not just to terrorists, but also to the Pakistani Army who supports them. While speaking to the Air Force personnel at the Adampur air base in Punjab, PM Modi said, “The terrorists were depending on the Pakistani Army, but the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force, and the people of India have defeated that Pakistani Army badly.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued to praise the Armed Forces, emphasising that they have shown the Pakistani military that there is no place left in Pakistan where terrorists can hide in peace. Reaffirming India’s tough stance on cross-border terrorism, PM Modi stated, “We will enter their homes and strike, and not give them any chance to escape.”

He also pointed out India’s advanced military capabilities, warning that Pakistan will stay restless just by thinking about India’s drones and missiles. In his address to the nation on Monday, PM Modi had declared that “Operation Sindoor” is India’s new normal. He repeated this today, adding, “India’s ‘Laxman Rekha’ against terrorism is now very clear. If another terror attack happens, India will give a strong reply – a solid reply. We saw it during surgical strikes, air strikes, and now Operation Sindoor is the new normal.”

The Prime Minister praised all three branches of the Armed Forces, highlighting that “every moment of Operation Sindoor showcases the incredible capability of the Indian armed forces.” He went on to commend their teamwork, saying, “The coordination among our forces was exceptional. Whether it was the Army, Navy, or Air Force, their collaboration was outstanding. The Navy demonstrated its dominance over the seas, the Army strengthened the borders, and the Indian Air Force carried out both attacks and defences. The BSF and other forces also displayed remarkable skills. The integration of air and land combat was truly impressive. This is jointness, and it has become a strong identity of the Indian armed forces’ capabilities.”
