The grand finale of the Miss World 2025 is set to take place on May 31 at the Hitex Convention Centre in Hyderabad, marking the culmination of a month-long celebration of beauty, purpose and global culture. With the heritage and cultural tour of Telangana coming to an end, the contestants are now gearing up for the main event which will lead to the world getting a new Miss World.
With 108 contestants from across the globe competing for the coveted crown, the final event will follow a structured and continent-based competition format. The announcement of the official running order has added to the anticipation, as the city prepares to host one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants.
Continental format
From the full list of participants, 10 contestants from each of the four continental regions (Africa, Americas and Caribbean, Asia and Oceania, and Europe) will move forward to the quarter-finals. These selections will include winners from the fast-track rounds (beauty with a purpose, sports challenge, head to head challenge, and others) which will go on until May 26 who automatically qualify regardless of their regional affiliation.
Each continental group will then be evaluated by the panel of judges to select a Top 5. From this set, two contestants will be chosen: one as the regional winner and the other as the runner-up.
The Top 2 contestants from each region will advance to the final competitive stage. Among them, the judges will determine four overall finalists, one continental winner from each region, who will form the Top 4.
In the final moments of the grand finale on May 31, the panel will vote to announce the overall winner of the 72nd Miss World title. Alongside her, the first, second, and third runners-up will be revealed. Additionally, the runner-up from the winner’s continental region will be elevated to the position of continental winner.
