Today we sat down with Peter and Michal, co-founders of Ydoca to talk more about what they do and their plans for the future.

Peter & Michal, Co-Founders of Ydoca
Hi Peter, tell us a bit about your personal journey towards founding Ydoca. How did you get here?
My former colleague (shoutout to Majo Jazbec) came to me, complaining about how long it takes him in pre-sales to find the right answers to repeated questions while filling out security and RFP questionnaires or preparing the sales proposals. I immediately got PTSD because back in the Brand Embassy days (a StartupYard alumn, my previous startup I was part of – successful exit), these processes were slowing down not just the sales department but basically the entire company – from sales, through marketing up to product and development.
I researched the market and no one was trying to actually solve the problem with automation, only “manage it” with better UI.
I teamed up with my co-founder Mišo (the most skilled dev I know, and my colleague for 7 years now), and the first version of the product was born. We immediately get a market validation, so it was time to go all in—accelerator, fundraising, resignations—and since October 2024, Ydoca has been on the market.
Who is Ydoca for and what problem are you solving?
B2B companies spend enormous time and resources, preparing the sales proposals during their sales process.
Sales and pre-sales teams are replying to customer requests and preparing proposals, security/compliance team is filling security questionnaires and R&D is handling product and technical parts of the proposals.
The catch is that they already did it many times before – successfully – and they are still doing it on repeat and manually.
We are here to put the whole process on autopilot. Ydoca platform leverages company internal knowledge and generates winning sales proposals in minutes, not days.
How big is the team and why are they a good match for this project?
We are two founders at the moment. Mišo is bringing all the technical skills, and I am bringing smiles. Just kidding. I can also talk really nicely. 😄
On a serious note, Michal and I have been working together for seven years, and we built a couple of successful products from scratch, recently a conversational AI platform that handles millions of conversations every month and we both were experiencing the problem we are solving firsthand.
We are also big believers in lean companies and we are leveraging the AI and automation tools in our work to help us scale a company without needing to hire new people until it is absolutely necessary.
Let’s talk more about your products. What would you say distinguishes you from other similar solutions? What is your “killer app?”

Ydoca – User Interface
Firstly, the low barrier entry. You can start by just uploading into the platform the previously successful proposals or security questionnaires, and Ydoca is able to handle and automate the new incoming ones with really high accuracy and percentage.
Secondly, Ydoca is truly AI-first. We built our infrastructure and experience around AI in the core instead of just bringing the AI and connecting it to the legacy SaaS architecture. This means that every job to be done for our users is handled by AI if possible. This allows us to build the necessary blocks (Lego bricks) – that we can later connect together into a truly agentic experience.
It sounds like any industry could use a solution like yours. How much of a problem is that for a small start-up? Are you able to focus on one segment or are you serving anyone who comes through your door?
We are currently focusing on small and medium-sized companies in the B2B segment. The main focus is on software companies or software as a service type of companies across various verticals like education, customer service, marketing etc.
What have been your team’s biggest personal or professional challenges in making this project a reality?
Jumping the ship and deciding to sign our resignation papers, leave our well-paid corporate jobs, and start building something new from scratch. and we did it, so it looks like the biggest challenge is overcome now we just need to make millions, easy.
Is Ydoca available now? What do people need to get started with your service?
Ydoca is available now and it’s free to sign up. Just visit our website ydoca.com and click on a sign up button.
What do you hope that Ydoca will be able to do for its users in the next few years that they can’t do now?
We strongly believe in the AI agentic world, and this is where we are heading. I feel the need to explain that we are not there yet even when everyone is now using the “AI agents” for everything that moves.
Our goal is to build true AI agents who can automatically analyze the new incoming opportunities, prepare the personalized proposals, handle other required documents, ask humans for help/validation and who is continuously improved by endlessly expanding company knowledge and data.
Talk a bit about your experience with StartupYard. What were the surprises, challenges, highs and lows?
StartupYard has been instrumental in refining our product vision, and shaping our go-to-market strategy. We’re excited to further leverage the network for future fundraising. The experience has been seamless, a great partnership that aligns perfectly with our expectations.
