The Safe Agriculture Award 2025, a joint initiative by Future Startup and Khaas Food Ltd, aims to recognize and celebrate 25 outstanding individuals making significant contributions to food safety and sustainable agriculture in Bangladesh. Applications and nominations are open now.
Future Startup, in collaboration with Khaas Food Ltd, is excited to announce an open call for applications and nominations for the Safe Agriculture Awards 2025—a prestigious recognition for 25 outstanding individuals who are pioneering safe, healthy, and sustainable food systems in Bangladesh. The awards will honor pioneers across six categories including farmer and grassroots farming communities, government, academia, private sector, and media, thereby inspiring innovation and leadership in building safer, healthier, and more sustainable food systems in Bangladesh.
The ambition is to honor the visionaries, innovators, and changemakers who are transforming Bangladesh’s food landscape through their dedication to food safety, nutrition, and safe and sustainable agriculture practices.
Whether you are a farmer implementing regenerative practices, a researcher developing food safety technologies, a policymaker shaping regulations, an entrepreneur building a healthier food ecosystem, or a journalist or content creator promoting and enabling safe and sustainable agriculture practices in Bangladesh —we want to hear your story.

Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (as of December 2024)
- Demonstrate measurable impact in their respective fields relevant to food safety, healthy food, and safe and sustainable agriculture practices.
- Show commitment to advancing safe and sustainable food systems in Bangladesh
Selection Process
A distinguished panel of experts from food safety, agriculture, nutrition, and sustainability sectors will evaluate applications based on:
