Not through swapping business cards and hustling.
But by sharing life affirming experiences in nature with one another.
Where you get to know each other as people first, and then work out ways to help and encourage one another.
People call it a friend factory for a reason.
This is what Summercamp is all about.
Our first Summercamp in 2013 started with us scratching our own itch.
Both Carlos and I craved inspiration and a deeper kind of connection. All the other business events we’d experienced were soulless affairs and lacked imagination.
That first gathering changed everything.
- It kickstarted our community into life
- Led to countless collaborations that live on to this day
- And other spin-off events all around the world like Alptitude and Ashram
It gave us the confidence to follow our dream, which meant closing our digital agency to realise our vision for The Happy Startup School.
And now we’d love for it to help you realise yours.

Who it’s for
Summercamp is NOT just for startups.
It’s for anyone that is looking to make a positive dent in the world, and is on a quest for inspiration, clarity and meaning in their work. It’s less about the stage of business you’re at, but more about the mindset and values we share.
A place for founders, coaches, consultants, changemakers, creative and social entrepreneurs, the odd corporate rebel and the curious.
