After DeepSeek caused unrest in the AI community earlier this year, another Chinese AI startup is on its way to do the same. Kling AI has announced some major upgrades to its creative suite, and has launched KLING 2.0 Master for video and KOLORS 2.0 for images. These tools come with enhanced prompt adherence, realistic outputs, and remarkable editing capabilities.
The company claims that the models offer better response to actions, expressions, and camera movements. They also support complex prompts with sequential actions allowing a user to direct a scene according to their vision.
KLING 2.0 Master comes with significant improvements in dynamics as it now offers more range of motion on the character subject with fluid movements and natural speed. The company claims that the new model comes with more dramatic expressions as seen in professional-level acting. It is offering more cinematic visuals and rich details even with text-to-video. The model allows for better style consistency with image to video enabling control over desired stylisation.
Ever since the launch, several users who have tried KLING 2.0 Master shared their creations on X (formerly Twitter). Below are some of the most arresting examples of the video model’s output.
A snail or a human hand?
Travis Davids, an X user who claims to be a 3D digital artist, used the Kling 2.0 model to animate an outlandish image that is straight out of science fiction. He used an image of a snail with a body resembling human hand and fingers, first spotted on OpenAI’s Sora. Davids later used Kling 2.0 to bring the image to life by adding movement and motion.
Yeah, I’m still amazed that Kling 2.0 even understood how to animate this image lol. Initially saw this on the Sora explore page and decided to remix it. pic.twitter.com/iAywFZCl8k

Phobia turns cute
Another artist Karoline Georges shared an intriguing video on her X account. The video shows a montage of a snake, rat, spider, wasp, and a baby dragon. Interestingly, all these creatures have translucent bodies and in place of life organs, they are filled with cherry blossoms, pinkish hydrangeas and other flowers.Karoline has captioned the video made using Kling 2.0 ‘Spring Mood’.

Make your own Top Gun movie
AI video artist and film director, Isaac Rodriguez, shared a video that he generated using the AI model. The video shows a close combat between two military aircraft in the skies. “Finally taking
@Kling_ai 2.0 for a spin. The motion and physics are a game changer. Here is DOGFIGHT,” he said in his post. The video showcases intense sequences as if from a Hollywood actioner.

Bitcoin man – the next superhero?
Another user named LaDogerB shared a video that seemed straight out of the DC Universe. A quintessential superhero with a bodysuit and flowing can be seen getting out of a telephone booth with a stern look, and one can also see a bustling city in the backdrop with yellow and black cars. “Kling 2.0 is insane. This scene alone is better than most Hollywood movies.”

360 degree fight cam
The Kling 2.0 model can be used to create some gravity-defying high-octane action sequences. A user, MayorkingAI used the model to create a 360 degree fight cam sequence featuring a hooded martial artist with glowing arm tattoos. The fighter can be seen spinning, kicking and punching in a dark alley battered by rain.

Create your own fantasy film
AI filmmaker PJ Ace shared a post with a video showcasing the distinct abilities of the Kling 2.0 model. According to him the model offers AI video quality that is 10 times better than its peers. Moreover, the user went on to share a step-by-step method of creating videos using the Chinese AI video model.
AI video quality just 10x’d overnight. I’m speechless.
Kling 2.0 just dropped and I’ve already burned through $1,250 in credits testing its limits.
I’ve never seen motion this fluid or prompts this accurate.

Cinematic feast
Travis Davids also shared another sample video praising the model. He highlighted its ability to generate fast, dynamic, and fluid motion with impressive realism. A collection of sample clips showcases its capabilities.
I’ve had early access to @Kling_ai brand new 2.0 video model and done extensive testing and trust me when I say that this model upgrade is AMAZING!!! 🔥 The amount of incredible dynamic action that you can generate now is next level. On the other hand, KOLORS 2.0 can generate images in over 60 styles. The image model reportedly adheres to elements, colours, and subject positions for realistic images with improved depths and tones. It also includes inpainting to edit and add elements and a restyle option to give a different look to content. The new model by Kling AI is a significant development as it shows how Chinese AI startups are continuing to innovate and advance their AI video generation.
